Martin has upgraded the venerable D-18 for the discerning 21st Century player! Beginning with a wonderful, sleek, Modified Low Oval neck shape with the Performing Artist taper makes this guitar play so smooth, you might think it almost can play itself! The width at the nut is 1 3/4 inches; and this gives more room to move around cleanly on the Ebony fingerboard. The tuning machines are Nickel , and open-geared, with Butterbean knobs. The bridge is a 1930"s style "belly" Ebony creation, wth a drop-in saddle. Martin retained the traditional dove-tail neck join, and added the forward-shifted, hand-scalloped top bracing pattern; this has produced that special tone that came from the old original D-18s!
Retail Price: $2899

We are SO ENTHUSED about the D-42, from C. F. Martin! Using premium tonewoods—Sitka Spruce for the top, and East Indian Rosewood on the back and sides—this instrument is built following Prewar Specifications! The bracing under the top is advanced forward to the soundhole one inch. This shifted bracing produces a huge sound; some Martin lovers refer to this as a "cannon"! The most discriminating guitarist will find a world of great balance between the trebles and bass tones. The tuning machines are gold and open-geared, with butterbean knobs. The headstock owns a Style 45 inlay, in beautiful Abalone pearl. The fingerboard is tastefully appointed with the style 45 Snowflake inlay. Select, sparkling abalone pearl adorns the top, and is used for all the inlays on this magnificent guitar!
Retail Price: $6449
From the front, this guitar looks exactly like the glorious D45 model! It is made with upgraded East Indian Rosewood, and topped off with Fine-grained Sitka Spruce. Much intense handwork goes into the crafting of this Martin, with the inlay of dozens of Abalone pieces around the border of the top and rosette, as well as the famous "Hexagon" inlays in the fingerboard—and, there is also the D45-style inlay on the headstock!! This is a favorite instrument with customers of ours, who range from blues to bluegrass, and from Jazz to Celtic styles. See specs at Martin's website!
Retail Price: $4999
Here is Martin's brilliant addition to an already fabulous Dreadnought guitar line. This model was created in the mid-1960s, when Brazilian Rosewood was becoming scarce and trees were becoming smaller and smaller due to overharvesting in Brazil. But Martin's brilliant luthiers, instead of not using this wonderful tonewood because the trees were producing boards too small for two-piece backs, were able to join three small planed boards together to make a wonderful-sounding back, along with the sides and tops. The idea was popularly accepted, and folks insisted the three--piece back helped make the Martin bass response deeper and richer. There were other opinions, where folks thought that the three-piece backs gave more voice to the treble tones. Today, the HD 35 has evolved into a fine guitar in its own right, having 1/4" bracing, instead of the HD-28 5/16" brace. Many players believe this is an excellent Dreadnought Martin to use for either flatpicking or fingerpicking, because of its balance of tone in both the bass and treble sounds!
We are EXCITED about this booming, big sounding dreadnought, with a 1 3/4" fingerboard! The Adirondack Spruce top produces a powerful, "CANNON-like", bark! Martin chose the Golden Era Style for the forward-shifted scalloped bracing—also made with Solid Adirondack Spruce. Grained Ivoroid body binding, with fine Herringbone top inlay gives this fine guitar a very "vintage" look. On the fingerboard is inlaid the long pattern Golden Era "Diamond and Square" Abalone inlays. Ancient, fossilized Ivory is used to craft the nut and bridge saddle. If you loved the sound of the 1930's, "golden-era" Martins, then hold on to your socks, because this guitar will really "do it" for you!!!
Retail Price: $5299
Martin's Flagship Dreadnought guitar...a Vintage Re-issue of the masterpieces which Martin created in the 1930's! Made with fine East Indian Rosewood and Sitka Spruce, this guitar's skillfully hand-toned top is created with 5/16", forward-shifted individually hand-shaved braces! The bracing is glued to the top in Martin's traditional "X" bracing pattern, a Martin original idea! The top trim includes the bold herringbone pattern with grained ivoroid binding, and the fingerboard inlay is the long pattern "Diamonds and Squares". The neck is a very comfortable and trim vintage "V" shape. The nut and saddle are made of bone, naturally! This is our best-selling guitar, here at Wildwood Music!!
Retail Price: $4099
This is Martin Guitar Company's best-selling guitar! Each top has braces which are hand-shaved by CFM's most experienced crafters, to bring out the clearest, finest trebles and most powerful, most resonant basses a guitar can be capable of producing!! This guitar is patterned after C.F. Martin's powerhouse D-28 made in the late 1930's. A very user-friendly and easy-to-play low profile neck is a most welcome update of the old 'baseball bat" necks found on earlier Martins. No wonder this guitar continues to please old and new generations of Martin lovers!!

This guitar has been re-created as a model that Martin had not made in nearly half a century! Eric Clapton collaborated with Martin in designing a guitar that combined the best features of a 000-42—premium East Indian Rosewood and Fine-grained Sitka Spruce—and the 000-28, with it's tasteful Fine Herringbone trim and grained Ivoroid binding. Special features include the long pattern "Diamonds and Squares" inlay on the fingerboard, and a trim modified "V" neck shape. With 1 3/4" at the nut, and a very comfortable 24.9" scale length—which increases string flexibility, this guitar nearly plays itself!! Whatever your style, the incredible tonal nuances will be certain to impress and please your very well-defined acoustic tastes!
Retail Price: $4349
Genuine Honduran Mahogany and rare Adirondack Spruce only begins to define this marvelous guitar! The Golden Era forward-shifted bracing pattern literally forces the sound to "leap out"! The 1 3/4" at-the-nut allows the guitarist plenty of room to move around cleanly on the fingerboard. Fossilized Ivory, for the nut and the saddle, signal superior tone and volume. The very trim modified "V" shape neck makes this fingerboard smooth as silk to get around on. The headstock headplate is covered with solid Brazilian Rosewood, and the pickguard is a Tortoise color, and is beveled and polished. This Martin guitar is a timeless and elegant instrument!!

"Thank you, Mr. Martin! It's ALRIGHT!" This line, from one of our favorite Norman Blake songs, is telling Mr. Martin how happy and grateful the player is to have had his Martin D18 all his life! This Vintage Re-issue instrument is so easy to love! With a very trim 1 11/16" V-shaped neck, a bone nut and saddle, the hand-scalloped bracing that is "forward-shifted" toward the soundhole, you cannot help but sound anything less than spectacular when you jam with this guitar! (Or, while playing at home, on the porch! Or, playing at Church! Or, playing just anywhere at all!)
Retail Price: $3349
This “little gem” was lovingly crafted with very rare Birdseye Maple on the back and sides. The top is fine Engelmann Alpine Spruce that is sanded to .105 inches, for maximum volume and sonic beauty!! Hand shaved, scalloped bracing—1/4” wide—was chosen for the exquisite top. Madagascar Rosewood binds the top, sides, back, and head plate. This Madagascar also appears in the center of the gorgeous Maple neck, and continues as the back strip against the Birdseye Maple. Fine Herringbone is added to the top inlay around the top, and in the rosette. A low-profile neck, finished with a 1930s heel, signals the excellent playability this Custom model provides. In the headstock, an excellently inlaid and colorful Torch is crowned by high-geared Nickel Waverly tuners with Black Ebony buttons. When we first played this Custom, we were thrilled to find the sound both bold and captivating—unbelievable for the size of this guitar—but not surprising, since the whole instrument is joined by hot hide glue!
Retail Price: $6499 — Wildwood's Price: $3899!
Here is a fabulous Martin guitar, Custom-made with rare Madagascar Rosewood! This Rosewood, which, like Amazon, is a very close cousin to the now-extinct Brazilian Rosewood. The huge tonal response is so near a sonic match to Dalbergia Nigra, that you may well "fall off your chair" when the power surge of sound surrounds you! We personally selected this set of highly-figured Madagascar, to go with an exquisite Premium Sitka Spruce top—you have rarely seen Sitka with such tight grain patterns and elegant silking! Bracing on this top is hand-scalloped, 5/16" inches wide, in a Golden Era pattern (mid-1930"s), with a 1/4" wide tone bar! The 1 11/16” nut width accompanies a very trim Modified “V” shaped neck! The pickguard on this vibrant Sitka top is made of Delmar, and is polished and beveled. Dramatic is not too powerful a word to use to describe this amazing Custom Martin guitar. Huge, full basses, with round, zesty mid-ranges, and clear, sparkling trebles is the best way to begin to portray how very special we think this guitar is!

Our special thanks to our good friend, Dave Evans, from Martin Guitar Company, for finding us this amazing Amazon Rosewood for the back and sides! The neck is a very comfortable "Low Profile", and measures 1 11/16" at the bone nut. To make this guitar look as beautiful as it sounds, we added the Delmar Tortoise, polished and beveled pickguard, as well as the old Martin headstock stamp! Here's another great HD28V with an Adirondack top! On this magnificent Martin, the braces are hand-shaved to the 5/16' thickness-- known for its bark and tonal "bite!" (Joking! But our fine Luthiers selected this Golden Era-patterned bracing for its resonance and richness!) The Delmar pickguard and Headstock stamp on our Custom HD28V secures its 2012 place in Martin history! This is the ONE you will choose when you first pick it up! What a phenomenal sound!

Thank goodness for the current availability of high quality Adirondack Spruce! This top was personally selected by our friends in Martin's Custom Shop, to go with the very fine set of exquisite Madagascar Rosewood—also specially chosen from several of the nicest sets available! We had Martin stamp their old trademark on the back of the headstock, and use the polished and beveled Delmar Tortoise pickguard! Tap-tuning the top, and carefully hand-scalloping the 5/16”, custom Golden-Era pattern, Adirondack bracing will prepare this instrument for a lifetime of extraordinary sound! Have you experienced the joy of playing a guitar made with rare Amazon Rosewood? This Rosewood, which is a very close cousin to the now-extinct Brazilian Rosewood, is so near a sonic match to Dalbergia Nigra, we are almost positive that you may well "fall off your chair" when the power surge of sound surrounds you! We personally selected this set of highly-figured Amazon, to go with an exquisite Sitka Spruce top! Our friends at Martin, Danny and Dave, suggested adding the venerable Martin stamp on the back of the headstock. The 1 11/16” nut width accompanies a very trim Modified “V” shaped neck. Using the sum total of knowledge and experience of all the luthiers in Martin’s Custom shop, we went with their suggestion for the top bracing pattern. The hand-scalloped, 5/16” wide, “Golden Era” pattern, with ¼” wide tone bar bracing, produced a guitar that is so magnificent in its sound, it is impossible to put into words! Imagine listening to a full orchestra, and then opening your eyes to see that the glorious sound you have just heard has come out of this one guitar!
Retail Price: $6508.95 — Wildwood's Price: $3905!
Did you realize that the centuries-renowned instrument maker, Antonio Stradivari, chose Italian Alpine Spruce for his top wood? No need to improve on perfection here, we chose this fine-sounding wood for the top of Wildwood's very special '000' Custom Martin! The ¼ inch top bracing is carefully shaved and toned for maximum balance and response, whether fingerpicked or plectrum-massaged! The inlay on this Alpine is Martin’s Traditional Herringbone. No one can fail to love the old Martin stamp on the back of this headstock, as well as the fine-tuning capacity of the Gotoh Vintage Nickel open-geared tuning machines! We hope you really enjoy the one-piece Mahogany neck that we had made in Martin’s Low Profile neck shape, which is 1¾ inches at the nut and a 24.9" Short Scale length!
And, we haven’t even raved about the sound of this 000 yet! You’ll never be accused of playing too softly on this supposedly small-bodied Martin—it cuts like a virtual giant of a guitar! There’s precise clarity in delicate fingerstylings; yet, its explosive report--when flatpicked--literally makes you think it is “standing up on its hind legs” and shouting!
Retail Price: $6090.00 — Wildwood's Price: $3654!
Would you love to own an amazing, extremely-custom Martin "M" body, cutaway? This Auditorium-sized Martin may be your special opportunity! Does it sound good? DOES IT EVER SOUND GOOD! "Good" doesn't begin to describe the LUSCIOUS, full-bodied voice that exudes such rich and full bass, mids, and trebles--all in an incredibly-balanced, powerful voice! Can you tell how very impressed we are with this one-of-a-kind Custom creation?! The Traditional Bold Herringbone is used for the top inlay, and the 5/16” bracing is hand-scalloped for the tap-toned Adirondack top! The neck is a very trim Modified “V” shape measuring 1 11/16” at the nut (2 1/8” string spacing at the bridge.), and has the standard 25.4” scale length. The fingerboard is inlaid in sparkling Abalone pearl, with the long pattern Diamonds and Squares. What a fingerpicking/flatpicking giant this M treasure is! Owning this guitar will be like finding a dear and special friend you never knew you had!

We have taken Wildwood’s best-selling guitar, the HD-28V, and upgraded it with beautiful and upgraded East Indian Rosewood, as well as a glorious Adirondack Spruce top. We asked for the favorite Delmar Tortoise pickguard, and the old Nazareth, Pennsylvania stamp on the headstock’s back. This Custom version of Martin’s Vintage Re-issue features Adirondack Spruce braces—instead of Sitka Spruce. These braces are hand-formed, and placed in the "forward-shifted" Golden Era style pattern. The 1/4" bracing was chosen to make the stiff Adirondack top more springy, so you do not have to bear down as hard with the pick! They are then tap-toned with scalloping to produce maximum, forceful tone from an already spectacular-sounding instrument!
Retail Price: $5101.98 — Wildwood's Price: $2998!
This Custom D-21 Special is EXTRA Special, with the very rare and beautiful Amazon Rosewood back and sides, and the hard-driving Adirondack top! The regularly wonderful D21 format of especially understated elegance is maintained throughout, with the tasteful Rosewood binding; but notice the extra Maple inlay on the top and sides of the bindings. But instead of the 1 3/4" measurement at the bone nut, we chose the modified 1 11/16" V neck shape of the HD-28V, with the neck being solid Honduran Mahogany! Back on to the Vintage toner top, we retained the carved Black Ebony Pyramid bridge, with a 16" radius compensated bone drop-in saddle, and the 3-ring Fine Herringbone rosette! This, like the standard model, possesses the hand-scalloped and forward-shifted 5/16" braces--and don't neglect the beauty of the Delmar Tortoise pickguard! On the back of the Headstock is the old C.F. Martin Stamp, and the Diamond Volute; and the beautiful Select Abalone inlay on the Headstock's front consists of the C.F. Martin script logo and the Modified Torch Inlay; artfully completing the Vintage look, Gotoh Nickel tuners firmly commit to the fine tuning of the Martin Extended Life strings! The Satin finish on the neck, along with an excellent neck set, signals the fine playability of the guitar; the strings are just close enough to the frets that they do not buzz, even with a heavy pick application. You must experience the immense joy of this so-responsive Custom Martin soon; amazement and pleasure will thrill your desire for a powerful, very individually-designed instrument with a tone that lingers on far beyond your picking!
Retail Price: $6540 — Wildwood's Price: $3990
We asked Martin's Custom Shop Luthiers to make their new Performing Artist GPC model with the Traditional dove-tail joined neck! It was made with Premium East Indian Rosewood and powerful Adirondack Spruce, with the hand-scalloped "Golden Era" pattern bracing on the top! The appointments are the same as on the new "Performing Artist -1" Series; but, to bring back a touch of Martin Tradition, we added the old Martin stamp to the back of the headstock. We also added the Traditional polished and beveled Tortoise pickguard, and made certain to add a bone nut and saddle. The pickup system on this guitar features the brilliant Fishman Fl Aura! But we saved the best comment for last--the magnificent sound! Wait until you have this "power-up" in your arms!

There is a bold, Herringbone trim rosette around the soundhole. This Martin also sports the newest Fishman pickup—the AURA!! (This link will inform about Aura.) The fingerboard and bridge are made of Micarta, a man-made and very durable material; this material will not shrink—and thereby cause frets to feel sharp on the sides of the neck—should the instrument be subject to very dry conditions!! (The bridge will be less likely to loosen, unless you really abuse your guitar by failing to humidify it properly!!!)
Retail Price: $2349 — Wildwood's Price: $1399!
How long will it take you to become enthralled and mezmerized by this 000 body size, its short scale, its cutaway? What will happen as you take it into your arms, hold it on your lap, and draw your fingers or pick across its strings? This is another spectacular example from this latest generation of our incomparable Martin artisans, whose forebears have dominated the acoustic marketplace since 1833! We haven't even gotten to the sound characteristics of the very rare and striking Amazon tonewood, on the sides and back of this Custom Shop creation! Our new guitar's Dalbergia Spruceana (Amazon Rosewood) is extremely close in characteristics to the more-famous close relative, Dalbergia Nigra (Brazilian Rosewood); and, though not yet extinct, it is extremely difficult to obtain. The Ultra Premium Sitka top, with hand-shaved, scalloped quarter inch braces, certainly live up to their promise--we were "blown away" by the intense power in tonal sounds that emanate from this magnificent soundbox! In the early 1930’s OM #6A Golden Era Pattern top bracing made former 000 Martins famous! Martin crafters combined that pattern with Martin's 21st Century genius; our Custom 41 Special certainly lives up to that reputation--and then some! We added the venerable OM-45 Style Delmar polished and beveled pick guard, and a Bone nut and saddle. This guitar measures 1 11/16” at the nut; and Martin installed that wonderfully-accurate sound reproducing Fishman Matrix Infinity pickup system. Rounding out this already-collectable and possibly future museum piece is the Abalone Pearl border around the top, the style 45 Abalone pearl Rosette, and the Style 45 Snowflake fingerboard inlay, from very Select Abalone.
Retail Price: $7116.90 — Wildwood's Price: $4270!
This Orchestra Model guitar is a delight when fingerpicked; but you would thoroughly enjoy using a flatpick! The sound is very well-balanced, yet retains the traditional thick and rich Martin voice. We started with a beautiful set of Madagascar Rosewood that we specially selected. We decided to pair this with Premium Sitka Spruce for the top. Golden Era hand-scalloped bracing was chosen. It was combined with a mid 1930’s Custom pattern—crafted especially for this instrument!Notice the “style 45” Rosette, along with the Abalone top border. A polished and beveled pick guard really fits the stunning look of this guitar. With a 1 3/4" at the nut, this neck is a modified low oval shape, and is joined to the body with the traditional dovetail. The old C.F. Martin stamp is on the back of the headstock. The script C.F. Martin logo on the headstock is made with Mother of Pearl. The tuning machines are gold, with ebony knobs. The fingerboard Hexagon Outlines in pearl are especially suited to this elegantly designed Custom guitar. The Hexagon Outline motif is repeated on the bridge wings.
Retail Price: $5658.45 — Wildwood's Price: $3395!
We are so excited about this one-of-a-kind Custom! As wonderful as the new GPCPA1 sounds, we are blown away with how amazing this same guitar sounds with the magnificent Adirondack top, and the very rare Madagascar Rosewood back and sides that Martin allowed us to select from several sets that they made exclusively available to Wildwood Music! Together with the Martin dovetail join, the neck features the new, slim, "PA" profile, with the addition of the pre-war Martin Diamond Volute! The appointments are all be the same as on the new "Performing Artist -1" Series; but, to bring back a touch of Martin Tradition, we added the old Martin stamp to the back of the headstock. We also added the Traditional polished and beveled Tortoise pickguard; and equipped this guitar with a bone nut and saddle, as well as the state-of-the-art Fishman Fl Aura on-board pickup!
Retail Price: $6214.95 — Wildwood's Price: $3728!
Since Madagascar is one of the closest living relatives to extinct Brazilian Rosewood, we asked Martin's Custom Shop to build--for you, our most particular customer--this incredible guitar, with a fine Adirondack Spruce top to complement the fabulous Madagascar tone wood on the back and sides. The best way to describe the voice of this instrument is POWERFUL! You can well appreciate the cut-through treble tones when flatpicking, and also be thrilled by the incredible balance of mids and basses when you fingerpick--yes, this wonderful dreadnought fingerpicks with finesse and grace! But the best thing about this Madagascar/Adirondack Vintage Reissue HD28V is that the bass is just "bigger," the mids are more "wholesome," and the trebles are "purer!" Those who love the Martin Tradition will particularly appreciate the old “Martin” stamp on the back of the headstock. Finally, this guitar is made with the 1 11/16" nut width, which is so comfortable and desirable to many Martin players.
Retail Price: $5899.95 — Wildwood's Price: $3539!
Handmade from top to bottom, the CS 21 11 is a particularly fine example of what exceptional expertise in guitar-making Martin’s finest builders have achieved! The neck on this very fine instrument was personally carved to an incredibly comfortable profile by master luthier Aaron VanWhy! Highly-flamed Koa was chosen for the top and back bindings, endpiece, and heelcap. The fingerboard and bridge are made from rare Madagascar. The finest tuning machines made by Waverly were selected, with the addition of beautiful Snakewood buttons!
The Adirondack Spruce top on this special Custom model was taken down to a thickness of .105”, and each Adi brace was delicately hand-scalloped and placed in Martin’s powerful “Golden Era” pattern. Hot hide glue was meticulously applied to join the braces to the top, and bring back, sides, and top together! The Madagascar wood used for the back and sides of this guitar was carefully hand-sanded, to achieve a perfect balance between maintaining the integrity of the wood and the ideal weight of the instrument—the goal being to produce maximum volume. Goal achieved—big time!!

Madagascar Rosewood, like Amazon, is a very close cousin to the now-extinct Brazilian Rosewood We selected this set of highly-figured Madagascar, to go with an Premium Sitka Spruce top The 1 11/16” nut width accompanies a very trim Modified “V” shaped neck! As an added treat, we chose to have Martin install one of the last two sets of Gold Schaller tuners—made in Germany—with the engraved “M” on each button!

We have taken Wildwood’s best-selling guitar, the HD-28V, and upgraded it with a glorious Adirondack Spruce top. We asked for the favorite Delmar Tortoise pickguard, and the old Nazereth, Pennsylvania stamp on the headstock’s back. This Custom version of Martin’s Vintage Re-issue features Adirondack Spruce braces—instead of Sitka Spruce—that are hand-formed and tap-toned to produce maximum, forceful tone from an already spectacular-sounding instrument!
Retail Price: $4849.95 — Wildwood's Price: $2909!
This very unique guitar is One of Three made by Martin's Custom Shop luthiers, and it certainly is a winner! When we played this guitar, we were overwhelmed by its tremendous sound! And no wonder, since this was made with that time-honored Hide Glue; this was used to secure the bridge, the neck, the braces, and the top/back/sides! The slotted headstock, according to Dick Boak at Martin, increases string tension; this helps the sound a little more than the usual headstock would. And Carpathian Spruce, the top tonewood, also highly sought-after by mandolin makers, surely adds to the large volume of sound. Although the 'S' body accounts for some of the increase in sound over a 14-fret model, this Custom D is surprisingly very clear in its mids and trebles--even more than the HD28V! The neck is Martin's 'Low Profile shape, and is so very comfortable to play with the 1 3/4" nut. The shaded top is the "Ditson" stain. We Love the highly-figured Mahogany neck, and enjoy the classic Martin stamp on the back of the headstock! Hopefully you will be able to come and experience this very special Custom Shop Martin, soon! (For more info, read the spec sheet: Spec Sheet--Custom D21 Special, 12-fret joined)

Have you experienced the joy of playing a guitar made with rare Amazon Rosewood? This Rosewood, which is a very close cousin to the now-extinct Brazilian Rosewood, is so near a sonic match to Dalbergia Nigra, that you may well "fall off your chair" when the power surge of sound surrounds you! We personally selected this set of highly-figured Amazon, to go with an exquisite Sitka Spruce top—you have rarely seen Sitka with such tight grain patterns and elegant silking! The 1 11/16” nut width accompanies a very trim Modified “V” shaped neck! As an added treat, we chose to have Martin install one of the last two sets of Gold Schaller tuners—made in Germany—with the engraved “M” on each button! Dramatic is not too powerful a word to use to describe this amazing Custom Martin guitar. Huge, full basses, with round, zesty mid-ranges, and clear, sparkling trebles is the best way to begin to portray how very special we think this guitar responds! Marty was overwhelmed when she fingerpicked this Dreadnought, especially since she was not using her regular picks! The rest of us played with flatpicks, and it was a full-on cannon!
Retail Price: $6445.95 — Wildwood's Price: $3868!
Martin has re-issued another time-tested masterpiece. We were so happy when Martin decided to build these 12-fret-joined, 24.9" scale small beauties, but we were not sure about the Modified V neck with 1 7/8"at the nut. Since all of these necks are hand-shaped, we personally selected this guitar which definitely had the most comfortable, and the most trim-feeling neck of all the ones we played!!! On this guitar, it is VERY comfortable to move up and down the fretboard!! The short-pattern diamond and square inlays are quite helpful in quickly identifying fretboard positions! You will be amazed at the volume coming from this small-bodied guitar! Taken altogether with the hand-carved slotted headstock, the beautiful nickel Waverly tuning machines, and the artfully-carved pyramid bridge, and herringbone trim, this rediscovered Martin may well increase your lust for playing more fingerstyle guitar!
Retail Price: $4699
Same incredible "boom-box" as above, but with Fishman's award winning Matrix Infinity Preamp system, installed by Martin in Nazareth, PA! We might add that the forward-shifted braces really bring up the trebles and mid-ranges, without sacrificing the huge, resounding bass!
Retail Price: $4428--SOLD!
We had Martin add the new Fishman Matrix Infinity pickup to our always-popular HD-28. Still, however, is the same wonderful Martin Signature Sound, always identifiable!
Retail Price: $3708
Fishman's new Ellipse Aura system gives this Martin classic a proper power boost!! The really great thing about this great Fishman pickup is that it has such a small "footprint" in the D28--until you need to plug in, and THEN you really notice it! Of course, because this is a Martin, you mostly don't even NEED to plug in! Ha Ha!
Retail Price: $2999
This amazing guitar has a unique configuration of woods, with very-responsive Cedar on the back and sides, and Adirondack Spruce on the top! The Adirondack Martin chose for this top is wonderfully "springy". This combination produces a very well-balanced sound, which has both great volume and note clarity. Other appointments include the Fine Herringbone top inlay, and grained Ivoroid binding. The finish is a highly-polished Gloss, and the fingerboard and bridge are smooth black Ebony. Gotoh Gold tuning machines, with L5 buttons keep this treasure in perfect tune. The 1 3/4" at-the-nut neck is an oh-so-comfortable Modified Low Oval shape. Although this guitar is called "Fingerstyle", those who have a light touch with a flatpick will find the voice of this instrument inspiring and fulfilling, as well!
Retail Price: $3899 — Wildwood's Price: $2339!
Small body, with a surprisingly-big sound! We believe it is the Martin Magic, while some folks credit the 24.9" short scale length. Other Wildwood customers suggest that the lighter, 1/4" scalloped bracing does the deed! Whatever your reasons, you will appreciate Martin's choice of premium quality, genuine Central American Mahogany, and Sitka Spruce woods—all skillfully crafted by Martin Guitar Company's gifted luthiers!!!
Retail Price: $3349
Retail Price: $6260.94 — Wildwood's Price: $3756!
Our special thanks to our good friend, Danny Brown, of Martin's Custom Shop, for finding us this amazing Amazon Rosewood for the back and sides! He also chose this beautiful piece of Adirondack Spruce for the top. What a great idea when he also suggested that the bracing be the "Golden Era" pattern! The neck is a very comfortable "Low Profile", and measures 1 11/16" at the nut. To make this guitar look as beautiful as it sounds, we added Gold tuning machines. This guitar is SOOOOOO Special!!
Retail Price: $5270.39 — Wildwood's Price: $3160!
This small, short-scale treasure, will amaze you with its big, resonant tonal response! People will look at you when you are playing this guitar, and say: "Holy Cow, where is all that sound coming from????!" We had this one-of-a-kind Martin 00 built for us through the Custom Shop in Nazereth, Pa. Please take notice of the beautiful Sitka Spruce top, which bears hand-scalloped, 1/4" bracing. Get a view of the very handsome East Indian Rosewood back and Sides. Vintage fine herringbone is the decorative top inlay against the grained Ivoroid binding. 1930's style small abalone position dots adorn the fingerboard. We've added the Vintage "butterbean" tuning machines. We may have saved the best until last; a VERY comfortable 1 3/4" width at the nut makes this guitar extremely playable!
Retail Price: $4315.50 — Wildwood's Price: $2589!
We LOVE this Special Edition guitar!! When you first pick it up, you feel so much at ease as you begin to play! The neck is a fast Modified Low Oval shape, and the light gauge (12-54) Phosphor Bronze strings are close to the fingerboard. It is made with very high quality East Indian Rosewood and Sitka Spruce, which is like that used for a 40-series Martin. Wait until you hear the pure acoustic responsiveness of this Martin marvel! Those experienced Nazareth luthiers made this guitar well-balanced without giving up the powerful bass Martin is so famous for. But then, add in Fishman's revolutionary OnBoard Aura pickup, with digitally-imaged high-power microphones, and you have unmatched onstage versatility! The sparkling Abalone pearl trims the top of the guitar, and it possesses a "Style 45" rosette around the soundhole. In the headstock the C. F. Martin script logo is inlaid in Pearl. Chris Martin (C.F.M. IV) himself designed the Pearl Hexagon Outline fingerboard inlays, and they are quite elegant.

This new, large-soundhole model, has pleasantly surprised us with its big sound! Clarity of the trebles and mid-range tones abound, while the Martin bass sounds come charging through. And the specially-added, fine Herringbone trim, gives this guitar a wonderfully-traditional look. This instrument, measuring 1 3/4" at the nut, also has Martin's Modified Low Oval neck, making it a delight to play! Solid Striped Ebony anchors the fingerboard and bridge. See Photos at Martin's website.

Striped Ebony is used for the fingerboard and bridge, and the neck measures 1 3/4" at the nut.
