The bone nut and saddle produces very clear mid- and treble-range tones; and the dovetail-joined neck, perfectly unites East Indian Rosewood back and sides and the fine Ade Spruce top keep the bass powerful and resonant! On the fingerboard, we asked for the Long Pattern Diamond and Square fingerboard inlay, Want some more? We asked Martin Seeliger if he would build a 12-string, using his very popular Grand Concert "M" size body, and he agreed!! (Here are 6-string M-32 Specs). Neck width is wider-1 7/8"--standard among 12-strings. Scale length is 24.80", a Short Scale!

Martin has skillfully crafted a heady combination of the finest AAA European Spruce and gorgeous East Indian Rosewood! This guitar fairly seethes with tonal beauty and power, and produces crystal clear, sparkling tones! The "M" size, aptly described as "auditorium" or "orchestra" model, fits perfectly in your lap, and the so-comfortable neck delights your chordal sensibilities! The gold Schaller tuners, the Pearl snowflakes on the fingerboard, and the Ab rosette all combine to present this as a veritable jewel of a guitar!

The Lakewood Sonic System (YouTube Sound Clip) a result of the co-operation of Lakewood Guitars and Shadow Electronics, works as dual system with two pickups. The "Nanoflex", developed by Shadow, picks up the sound of the strings at the bridge saddle. A second pickup the "Nanomag", is a magnetic pickup--hidden inside the guitar--and specialized to transfer a soft sound with round basses. Overall, this pickup has a good resistance against feedback when playing at high volume levels.

This "Fair to Good" condition 1967 D12-35 Brazilian model (SN #227147) was made using the finest back-and-side tone wood from which a guitar can be made! Its Sitka Spruce top--with repaired cracks that are visible--rewards your vintage guitar lust with a rich, darkened lacquer tone that reminds you of its fine Martin heritage! Take a deep breath before being bowled over by the exquisite-looking Brazilian Rosewood sides and (3 piece) back; the old Mahogany neck is joined to the "S" body at the 12th fret. The neck--1 7/8" at the nut, with a 24.9" scale length--has been re-set and re-fretted., with the non-adjustable truss rod retained. Action is low and buttery, and the fingerboard capos nicely--although you will want to play this without a capo as much a possible. Its sonorous voice can resonate the fillings from your teeth!! The Grover tuners are the original enclosed six-on-a-plate and USA-made, with chrome buttons; condition of the Grovers is very good.. Although it was a lot of hard work to side Wildwood, I still think I got the better deal--getting my 12-string! So it will not come as a surprise when you learn that I am still blown away by this model! It is so comfortable to play, although it measures the standard 1 7/8" at the nut; no doubt the Low Profile neck carve and a 24.9" scale length contribute to the comfort you feel as you make those difficult barre chords! This wonderful Jumbo Martin 12-string guitar was made by CFM's finest luthiers in the Custom Shop. The top really sets the tone with its extraordinarily rare Italian Alpine Spruce. This wood is from the same area in the Italian Alps that Stradavari went to select the tops for his fine violins. The back and sides are made from premium East Indian Rosewood; and, when combined with a hand-made one-piece Custom Honduran Mahogany neck, the overall resonance of the 12 strings is enhanced greatly. To amplify the majestic sound, Martin installed the ever-popular Fishman Matrix Natural One pickup. Made with a beautiful Engelmann Alpine Spruce top, this guitar has forward-shifted pattern bracing. We had this guitar crafted with Taylor's 24 7/8" Short Scale! Talk about playability! This already eminently comfortable Taylor neck is even more comfortable to maneuver around the frets! And then, there is that magnificent 12-string response of the Amazon Rosewood and Engelmann Spruce—Wow! The soundhole rosette is ornamented with a single ring of Abalone pearl, and the fingerboard has the 600-series inlay pattern—described by Taylor as a "Pearl 'Leaf' Pattern". Gold tuners and Presentation bridge inlay round out the luscious visual adornments to this beautiful instrument! We left the pickguard off, because of the beauty of the natural top. How cool is this?! A 12-string Taylor guitar, with rare "Sinker" Redwood for the top! And, the especially hand-picked East Indian Rosewood will really add to the excellent sound, which we are sure will be spectacular! On the fingerboard, the engraved diamonds help guide the way; and, to draw your eye to the magnificent Sinker top, we added the Byzentine inlay to the bridge! Taylor GSCE 12-String, Sinker Redwood/Premium East Indian Rosewood

WE CAN HARDLY WAIT; THIS CUSTOM CAN'T COME SOON ENOUGH! Our first one was here for one day only, before a happy customer snatched it up! A top of rare Sinker Redwood, that would handle the tension of a 12-string guitar, was specially selected for this instrument by the luthiers in Taylor's Custom Shop! They chose a back and sides set of beautifully colored and grained East Indian Rosewood to complement the top in beauty, as well as for excellent sound characteristics. On the fingerboard we selected Engraved Diamonds, and these are becoming recognized as our special choice for Wildwood's Custom instruments. We also love Bob Taylor's "Cindy" inlay for the bridge. We are having this made with a Taylor Short Scale, so that the already-comfortable neck is even more playable! The tone quality of the Redwood is both strong and warm, and the signature Taylor balanced sound produces incredible and full melodies!
