Wildwood’s Terrific Future 12-String Guitars!
Martin Custom GP 12-40E
HOLY COW! SOON TO ARRIVE! For the first time, Martin is making a Custom 12-string in the new, Grand Performance body size! This will be a very special 12-string guitar, built using the Grand J12-40E appointments and pickup! The cutaway, along with the very low-profile Performing Artist neck, should result in an extremely fast fretboard! The short 24.9" scale length, along with the 1 13/16"at the nut (Usually the 12-string models are wider than this.) make this Martin so wonderfully playable! The bone nut and saddle will produce very clear mid- and treble-range tones; while the East Indian Rosewood back and sides and the Sitka Spruce top keep the bass powerful and resonant! On the fingerboard will be inlaid the long pattern diamonds and squares. Want some more? OK, how about Abalone pearl soundhole rosette, Gold tuning machines, and D45 block pearl name in the headstock! We almost forgot to brag about the D-Tar Wave Length Multi-Source pickup!

Martin Custom 0000C-12-28E, Amazon Rosewood/Italian Alpine Spruce
Here is a spectacular, one-of-a-kind, 12-string model! This "M" body has a beautiful Venetian cutaway, and is topped with very special Italian Alpine Spruce! The back and sides are made with rare Amazon Rosewood, which gives this treasure flatpicked or fingerpicked versatility! They stamped "C. F. Martin and Company, Nazareth, Pa." on the back of the headstock, for tradition's sake! With a 24.9" scale length and a smaller 1 13/16" at the bone nut, you will be thrilled at your enriched capacity to make fabulous music with this Custom creation! You will love the very realistic-sounding Fishman Matrix Infinity pickup, which will add to your playing versatility! After building this special instrument, the Custom Shop luthiers really got a kick out of how wonderfully it turned out! These folks have been at Martin for a long, long time, and have built lots of different instruments. We were honored to find out that they considered our Custom request to be delightfully original, and it thrilled them to build such a "cutting edge" Martin, based upon the Tradition they have become so well-known for!

Martin GRAND J12-40E SPECIAL!!
12-String lovers!! Amazing, fabulous, huge sound!!! Incredibly easy to play, the neck is a surprisingly narrow 1 13/16"!!! As on all "40" series Martins, this guitar is built with the finest East Indian Rosewood, and premium Sitka Spruce from Alaska. Beautiful Abalone pearl adorns the rosette, and the long pattern diamond and squares are inlaid on the Ebony fingerboard. The C. F. Martin name is proudly inlaid with Abalone pearl, in block letters! Surprisingly, the top bracing is a progressively scalloped 5/16", a different direction for Martin in 12-string guitars! This is a new, wonderful Martin offering! Of all the many 12-string guitars we have had the privilege of selling here at Wildwood, this is our absolute favorite!! When it first arrived, all we had to do was gently touch the strings, and out came all our favorite 12-string songs, like "Walk Right In," "Rocky Mountain High," "Hey, Mr. Tambourine Man," "Hotel California," "Stairway to Heaven," "Ticket to Ride," and "Wreck of the Edmond Fitzgerald!" It has the amazingly easy-to-play Short Scale, to go along with the Venetian Cutaway. Here is an exciting, smaller and dynamic version of an all-Walnut Taylor 12-string. In addition to being a GA size, this guitar has 4mm Abalone Pearl dots on the fingerboard. In addition, the Single Ring Abalone Rosette accentuates the top. Finally, the beautiful Cindy inlay will adorn the Ebony bridge! We chose Taylor’s Short Scale length on this one--for ease of play, along with the Venetian cutaway! For us, the most wondrous gift this BTO has to give is its very surprisingly warm and full sound! Because of the GA size, this captivating tonality literally bursts forth and joyfully expands outward , from its compacted space, to inflate dynamically and surround you with vigorous trebles, mids, and balanced basses!

Taylor Custom GSCE 12-String, Sinker Redwood/Premium East Indian Rosewood
A top of rare Sinker Redwood, that would handle the tension of a 12-string guitar, was specially selected for this instrument by the luthiers in Taylor's Custom Shop! They chose a back and sides set of beautifully colored and grained East Indian Rosewood to complement the top in beauty, as well as for excellent sound characteristics. On the fingerboard we selected Engraved Diamonds, and these are becoming recognized as our special choice for Wildwood's Custom instruments. We also love Bob Taylor's "Cindy" inlay for the bridge. We are having this made with a Taylor Short Scale, so that the already-comfortable neck is even more playable! The tone quality of the Redwood is both strong and warm, and the signature Taylor balanced sound produces incredible and full melodies!

TAYLOR CUSTOM GSCE 12-STRING, Genuine Mahogany Top, Back, and Sides, ANOTHER Custom 12 built for Wildwood Music by Taylor’s brightest and best luthiers! This is made with a soft Venetian cutaway, a Short Scale, the Cindy inlay for the bridge, and colorful Abalone 4mm dots on the fingerboard. We chose the color of this 12-string to be more like that of the “500” series Mahogany. It has a soft and warm, more “brownish” appearance.

This guitar has journeyed all the way from Germany! Martin Seeliger has combined a heady combination of the finest AAA European Spruce and gorgeous East Indian Rosewood! This guitar fairly seethes with tonal beauty and power, and produces crystal clear, sparkling tones! The pickup for this Lakewood was developed by Shadow Systems and Martin Seeliger, and faithfully and ardently amplifies the rich bass and strong mids and trebles. The "M" size, aptly described as "auditorium" or "orchestra" model, fits perfectly in your lap, and the so-comfortable neck delights your chordal sensibilities! The gold Schaller tuners, the Pearl snowflakes on the fingerboard, and the Ab rosette all combine to present this as a veritable jewel of a guitar!

This is a one-of-Kind 12-string version of the previous guitar. We selected the Presentation bridge inlay to emphasize the particular piece of Grafted Walnut that was chosen for the top! Martin Custom J40 12-String, Italian Alpine Spruce
This wonderful Jumbo Martin 12-string guitar was made by CFM's finest luthiers in the Custom Shop. The top really sets the tone with its extraordinarily rare Italian Alpine Spruce. This wood is from the same area in the Italian Alps that Stradavari went to select the tops for his fine violins. The back and sides are made from premium East Indian Rosewood; and, when combined with a hand-made one-piece Custom Honduran Mahogany neck, the overall resonance of the 12 strings is enhanced greatly. To amplify the majestic sound, Martin installed the ever-popular Fishman Matrix Natural One pickup. If you would like to love and cherish one of the finest 12-string guitars Martin has ever built, then this fine instrument was definitely made for you!

The Sitka Spruce on the top is especially fine...please notice the beautiful silking. The Expression System is installed, to meet your sound reproduction needs. Taylor Custom 12-String GSCE, Amazon Rosewood
Made with a beautiful Engelmann Alpine Spruce top, this guitar has forward-shifted pattern bracing. We had this guitar crafted with Taylor's 24 7/8" Short Scale! Talk about playability! This already eminently comfortable Taylor neck is even more comfortable to maneuver around the frets! And then, there is that magnificent 12-string response of the Amazon Rosewood and Engelmann Spruce—Wow! The soundhole rosette is ornamented with a single ring of Abalone pearl, and the fingerboard has the 600-series inlay pattern—described by Taylor as a "Pearl 'Leaf' Pattern". Gold tuners and Presentation bridge inlay round out the luscious visual adornments to this beautiful instrument! We left the pickguard off, because of the beauty of the natural top. (But a tortoise guard is in the case pocket, if you prefer that look!)

Taylor Custom GSCE 12-String, Sinker Redwood Premium Rosewood
How cool is this?! A 12-string Taylor guitar, with rare "Sinker" Redwood for the top! And, the especially hand-picked East Indian Rosewood will really add to the excellent sound, which we are sure will be spectacular! On the fingerboard, the engraved diamonds help guide the way; and, to draw your eye to the magnificent Sinker top, we added the Byzentine inlay to the bridge! A short scale length was chosen for this Custom, since our previous twelves, that were built in the BTO shop with this feature, fairly charmed our excited customers! Taylor 12-strings normally are very comfortable to play, and sound quite fabulous; but we were so very pleased with the incredible sound, and enhanced comfort of the shorter scale length, that we definitely wanted this original to be built the same way as our previous short scale 12-strings!
